2013 Nexus 7 WiFi-only Available in UK, Spain, Germany, France, Japan Google Play Store
The New Nexus 7 model of 2013 has been launched last month and now you can finally purchase it from the Google Play Store if you’re based in Europe or Japan. The shipping date is set for 1-2 days for both 16GB and 32GB table variants. Also, the official pricing is live for all regions and more info can be found at the end of this post.
There is no official word on the Google Play Store availability for the Nexus 7 2013 LTE model.
Until now only the U.S. users could access the Nexus 7 2013 page on the Google Play Store, but now those of you from UK, Germany, France, Spain and Japan can order it right to your door steps. Currently there are seven countries that you can purchase ASUS / Google’s latest 7-inch Nexus tablet. US and Canada Play Store web sites got the Nexus 7 table as available right away while all the other regions had to wait until Google settled all the licensing and other legal issues.
The rest of the world where the Google Play Store Devices section is supported should feature the 2013 Nexus 7 tablet as ‘available for purchase’ soon. At the moment, in South Korea and India you can only buy the 2012 variant.
The new Nexus 7 Wi-Fi only tablet packs a 7-inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 LED display, 1.5 Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB / 32 GB internal storage, weighs 290 g, multitouch, Corning Gorilla Glass, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 3950 mAH battery, SlimPort, dual speaker, 5MP rear camera, QI wireless charging, NFC. All these are powering the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
Head to Google Play Store and order your Nexus 7 2013 tablet today and you should get it until the end of this week, as Google lists 1-2 business days for the shipment. Note that, besides purchasing the tablet, you will also have to pay extra for the shipment. In the UK you can purchase the 16GB model for £199, while the 32GB one will cost you £239. Germany, France and Spain Play Store has set the €229 price tag for the 16GB model and €269 for the 32GB variant. In Japan you can buy the 32GB model for ¥33,800 or the 16GB for ¥27,800. Remember that the shipment costs will also be added to your order.
