Motorola surprised us all with the release of Moto X. Why? Well basically because the company managed to provide a high end Android smartphone on a relatively affordable price tag. But that’s not all, as Moto X managed to impress the customers, so now the phone is quite popular among US and International Android users. Due to same reasons Motorola is trying to make the best out of these things, the company being ready to provide the 64GB version of Moto X.
This info, which was more like a rumor than something to rely on, has been leaked during the last few days. This info was spotted trough Motomaker’s memory selection page, where the 64GB Moto X was listed. So, since then everyone is wondering whether this new model of the Moto X will be made available or not. As you know, currently the smartphone is available in two models depending on the internal space capacity: a 16 and a 32 GB version.
Well, if the internal space is important for you and if 32 GB is not enough then you should head your attention towards this new Moto X release, which is being quietly prepared. Of course, it’s a little bit strange to whines the 64GB variant of the mentioned device, since Motorola should also release a new smartphone for its customers soon, so we are wondering who will actually buy a 64GB phone released back in 2013 instead of getting a handset that is being developed this year.
Anyway, if we are to believe the latest info that has been leaked, the 64GB Moto X is real and will soon arrive to Sprint. It seems that internal Sprint docs were specifying a 64GB model of the Moto X which was supposed to be launched on May 23th. So, we can conclude that either the release date has been delayed or Motorola decided to drop its plans related to the Sprint version of 64GB Moto X.
Until now there isn’t anything official, so neither Motorola nor Sprint confirmed anything yet. Even though things aren’t clear so far, it’s clear that the company was planned to launch a 64GB model of the Moto X and Sprint was among the US retails to provide this Android smartphone.
As you know, the Moto X is an interesting device that comes with great specs and features. In that matter, the phone offers a 4.7 AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 16, 32 and now 64 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM memory, a 10 MP rear facing camera along with a 2 MP front facing one, a dual core 1.7 GHz processor and a 2200 mAh battery. Moto X is coming pre installed with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, but don’t worry as you will be able to update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware right away.
So, what do you think, will Motorola provide the improved Moto X, or another device will be released instead? And also, would you be interested in buying the mentioned smartphone, or you would rather go for a more recent developed handset?
