Acer Liquid E1 and Liquid Z2: Specs, Features, Price and Future Availability Revealed

Well after all the latest high end smartphones that were announced lately and which are highly expected by all of us, now it should be a good idea to discuss something about the budget friendly, mid-range devices that are set to be released during the next few months. So, today I will present you the Acer Liquid E1 and Liquid Z2, which are two new handsets that come with decent performances on a low price tag.

The first to begin with is the Acer Liquid E1; its specs are including a 4.5 inch qHD display, a dual core processor clocked at 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM memory, 4 GB of internal storage memory, a 5 MP rear facing camera, micro SD card slot and a Li-Ion 1760 mAh battery. The best part is that this mid-range smartphone will be featuring the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS, so its users will be able to enjoy the latest Android experience on a phone that will be offered on an affordable price tag.

The Acer Liquid E1 exact release date isn’t yet known, but it is expected soon in Europe. The rumored price for this Android based device is somewhere around 250 Euros.

Then, we have the Acer Liquid Z2. This handset will be featuring the same Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean software, but its specs are a little lower (in performances) than the ones spotted on the Liquid E1. Anyway, the smartphone will be coming with a 3.5 inch display, only 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, micro SD card slot, a 3 MP camera on the back, a 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon processor and with a Li-Ion 1300 mAh battery.

According to our sources, the handset is also expected in Europe somewhere during the next few weeks or months, its price tag being tagged for around 130 Euros. Both devices will be available in two versions, a basic one and a dual SIM capable variant and probably more aspects will be presented during MWC, where we are also expecting fresh news from Huawei and ZTE (related to new low range with affordable prices Android based devices).
