Samsung’s event at IFA has brought us a lot of good news. Along with new product releases, Samsung has also announced that Galaxy S3 and Note 10.1 will receive an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update very soon. Unfortunately they didn’t disclose any release date, though we should probably get the update in less than a month.
Some sources have been announcing already that Samsung is preparing to release Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S3 and Note 10.1 in September, while the Galaxy S2 and Note N7000 should be updated by October.
Considering that there are already stable Jelly Bean leaks for the Galaxy S3, we can suppose that they are almost ready to push it through Kies and OTA.
According to some rumors, Jelly Bean updates are in the works for many Samsung devices, though release dates aren’t very clear yet. Hopefully Samsung won’t forget their other users and make them happy too.
Until now customers have been complaining that Samsung is moving very hard with updates and usually devices have been updated even half an year after Google released the new Android versions. Fortunately, it seems like Samsung wants to keep its customers happy and tries to answer their wishes.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a best-seller on the smartphone market, currently only competing with the iPhone 4S, though Apple is preparing to release a new competitor for Samsung’s flagship device. Along with the Galaxy S3, Samsung will definitely be very successful with their new phablet, the Galaxy Note 2, which helps them keep their position as the smartphone market leader.
