Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S3 as the files have been leaked on earlier. It is an official build, but it might not be the final version. Leaked firmware files are usually uploaded to non-official channels of Samsung and, from time to time, these will see the light of day allowing Galaxy S3 owners to keep up with the latest Jelly Bean features before an official channel will be opened.
This is an Android 4.2.2 updating firmware that is available only with the International variant of the Samsung Galaxy S4. There is no confirmation telling us that this I9300XXUFME3 firmware is the same as the one on the Samsung Galaxy S4. The official release of an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is expected to be available starting with June for the Galaxy S3. The current leaked XXUFME2 Jelly Bean ROM is currently in testing phase at Samsung’s dev center.

Galaxy S4 Lockscreen with this build of I9300XXUFME3 firmware brings new actionable lockscreen widgets, unlock effects such as Ripple and Light. Improved ripple effect which looks better than it did before with Android 4.1.2 JB. Now you can change clock size and enter a personal message. The new screen modes are taken from SGS4 and it brings the Adapt Display and Professional Photo.
Installing this new firmware for your phone is easy as you simply need to use ODIN and the I9300XXUFME3 file. However, by installing the leaked update you will see an increased binary counter, while the current binary and system info stays official. No modem has been included in this release since this is a pre-release build of the final Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
