Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Official OTA Update leaked for AT&T Galaxy S3, Note 2, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Active

That’s right, the first stock Android 4.3 ROM firmwares for AT&T Samsung smartphones have been leaked earlier today. This means that Samsung and the US carrier are currently testing the latest Jelly Bean build, and that soon the OTA Update for Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S4 and S4 Active will arrive.

There is no official word on the Android 4.3 JB OTA Update release date, but we can expect it to be available by the end of this year. All the firmware versions were leaked by DesignGears, a recognized developer in the Android world. So, these are the model numbers of the phones that can be updated with the leaked Android 4.3 builds: SGH-I747 Galaxy S3,  SGH-I317 Galaxy Note 2, SGH-I337 Galaxy S4 and SGH – I537 Galaxy S4 Active all on AT&T network.

Android 4.3 leaked update and the final OTA Update will brings the following things: support for Galaxy Gear, TRIM technology, ANT+ support, Samsung KNOX security software that will lock the bootloader, Samsung Wallet, better RAM management, better Display color reproduction, enhanced TouchWiz launcher, new Samsung keyboard, new Samsung Browser, new Reading Mode and a brand new camera firmware. Also, there are some other minor tweaks and improvements that will improve the overall performance of your smartphone.

All these builds are in their testing phase and not all of them are stable. So, in case you decide to follow the XDA links listed at the end of this post, then you need to know that you might experience bugs, errors, force closes and other problems while running such leaked firmwares. However, the leaked Android 4.3 build for these devices is nearing its final stage which means that you can at least test them.

By installing the leaked firmware files you will revoke any root access for your phone, KNOX will be added to your phone’s bootloader security, meaning that in case you decide to root your phone again, then you will lose warranty without any chance of restoring it.
