AT&T and Samsung have launched the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S4 smartphone. Check your phone’s Software Update menu or wait for the OTA Update notification to be sent to your device. Make sure to use a Wi-Fi connection in case you get the update files.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update has the firmware version set to UCUEMJ9 and it brings support for Samsung Galaxy GEAR, TRIM Support, updated graphics drivers, tweaked UI elements, camera firmware and all more others. Also, with Android 4.3 you will get the Samsung KNOX security technology on your Galaxy S4 AT&T.
The download size of JSS15J.I337UCUEMJ9 Android 4.3 Update is of 719MB, which is why you need to use a Wi-Fi Connection to get it on your device, so that you’ll avoid any extra mobile data costs. The update comes Over-the-Air and it will be pushed to your AT&T Galaxy S4 starting today. Wait for the notification alert to appear or choose to connect your smartphone with your computer and launch Samsung KIES in order to check for new update files.
Note that the update will be pushed only for stock AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 devices, which means that in case your device is running a custom ROM then you might not be able to flash the update.
Did you get the update? If not, then you shouldn’t worry as it will probably be available later today or in the next few days. Make sure to check the Software Update menu from the Settings> About Phone menu.
