If you happen to own an HTC One from T-Mobile and wonder when the Android 4.3 update will hit your terminal, hear that HTC USA’s Jason Mackenzie has just confirmed the ETA for the firmware update.
The HTC America President announced yesterday on Twitter that “we [HTC] received certification today on 4.3. You will find update on your phones within next few days.” T-Mobile is the third carrier to roll out the Android 4.3 update for HTC One in the US, after both Sprint and AT&T updated the Taiwanese flagship to the latest Android version over the past couple of weeks. As usual, Verizon is the last carrier in the country to update its devices to new software versions.
Jason Mackenzie used the same microblogging platform to talk HTC Droid DNA Android 4.3 update. According to the HTC exec, the former Droid DNA will be updated to 4.3 as of December, so sit tight and wait for the new update.
With Android 4.4 KitKat knocking at our doors, the Android OEMs are still struggling to update their devices to newer Android version.
As a reminder, the HTC One was launched in February with Android 4.1.2 on board. The handset sports a 4.7-inch full HD Super LCD3 display, quad-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB storage, 4 “ultrapixel” camera with 1080p@30fps video recording, 4G LTE, WiFi, NFC, infra red port, and microUSB 2.0.
