Android 4.3 Update for Samsung Galaxy S4 Rolling out at C Spire

After the initial Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update was put on hold over unknown reasons, the US carriers are now starting to resume the update process. After AT&T and Sprint the folks at C Spire resumed the Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S4 and made it available for download.

The Android 4.3 update is being rolled out for both the C Spire Samsung Galaxy S4 owners who are still on Android 4.2.2 and for those who managed to update their smartphones during the initial roll out. The new C Spire Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update will change the firmware number to R970XWWUEMK6.

According to the official changelog posted by the Korean company on their website, the C Spire Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update will bring Galaxy Gear support, PEN.UP, Group Play 2.5, Note 3’s Multi-Window feature, Sound and Shot mode for Camera app, Group Messaging, improved Samsung Apps, New Easy Mode, and Premium Suite Features.

Besides all these features you will get the usual Android 4.3 stuff like expandable actionable notifications, location detection through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Smart support, and other performance improvements and bug fixes.

The software update is being rolled out now via KIES or OTA, so the system update message should pop up any time if it didn’t already. You can also check for the update manually by heading to Settings > More > About Phone > System Update > Check for Updates or you can alternatively grab the USB cable and connect your Galaxy S4 to KIES.

Did you guys receive the Android 4.3 R970XWWUEMK6 OTA update on your C Spire Galaxy S4? Please let us know in comments.
