The Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL Android 4.3 update has been leaked, and it will allow the owners of the two smartphones to test the latest Android firmware on their devices ahead of the official roll out.
The Android 4.3 build 10.4.B.0.569 is compatible with both the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, and even though it’s not yet certified on PTCRB, it has become available for download, therefore the official roll out of the Android 4.3 update for Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL shouldn’t be too far away.
Of course, there’s no official changelog available, but the folks at Xperia Guide managed to compile one based on the aforementioned firmware. According to them the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL users who install Android 4.3 10.4.B.0.569 will be able to enjoy the Xperia Z1 (Android 4.2.2) white interface and camera app, new themes and wallpapers, new keyboard, and other performance improvements and bug fixes.
Further more, Xperia home is now version 6.1.2.A.0.1, Album app is version 5.2.A.1.26, Movies app is version 5.3.A.0.18, and the screen has been calibrated for “more brighter display.” Unfortunately, the X-Reality engine is not available, as Sony decided to stick to Bravia Engine 2.
The Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL can be manually updated to Android 4.3 10.4.B.0.569 using Flash Tool Manually, but since it’s not an official release it’s not advisable to do so.
