UPDATE: SFR France has retracted the announcement stating that the new firmware update for HTC One was presumably released. However, a new time frame has been set and it will be next month. So, after all, Europe will get the Android 4.4.2 for HTC One but in February.
Earlier today SFR. French carrier, has officially released the update to Android 4.4.2 for HTC One. At this moment the OTA update is only available from this particular carrier and country, while other European regions should get the new firmware by the end of this month.
US-based owners of HTC One should also get the update by the end of this month, as HTC US has promised last year that the new firmware update should arrive until February 2014. More news regrading this particular launch should arrive soon regarding the official release date of Android 4.4.2 for HTC One in the United States.
