According to the internal document sent by the anonymous tipster the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 will both get updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat in June. The status of the Android 4.4.2 update for both devices is listed as “testing.”
It seems that the Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be labeled XXUBND4, while the Galaxy Mega 6.3 Android 4.4.2 update has build number XXUDND6.
There’s no info regarding the changes bought by the Android 4.4.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3, but we believe the new firmware will be very similar to the ones that were already released for the likes of Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, or Galaxy Note 3.
