Android 4.4.3 KitKat has been officially rolled out last night by Google and new features are starting to leak for download. Today you can get and install the KitKat 4.4.3 new Dialer APK for your Nexus device.
There aren’t too many changes added by this new update as the Dialer seems like it might be one of the biggest. The whole UI of Android 4.4.3 now features tons of new colors while the most noticeable change would be the new skinned dialer menu.
In Android 4.4.3 KitKat the Dialer will be lighter than before as there are different shades of blue, gray and white. New changes have been added for the History page where we now have a different call logo and the contacts without a preset photo will now be colored letter cards instead of the black thumbnail that was used until Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
After you download the new Android 4.4.3 KitKat Dialer APK on your device you will simply have to use a file explorer to find it. Open the file and then confirm its installation. It would be best for you to reboot the device after the install process is complete.
Don’t try to install the new Dialer APK on devices that aren’t Nexus or Google Play Editions as there it seems like problems have been detected after installation. So, if you have a device that runs stock Android 4.4+ from Google then the new dialer should work just fine.
Android 4.4.3 should reach all Nexus 4, 5, 7 and 10 models soon enough and, users who don’t want to flash the APK can just wait until the official OTA Update notification is rolled out in their region.
We couldn’t find any other major changes added by Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update. With the new update we have found only several new bug fixes for errors that were detected on devices running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
In case you install the Dialer on your device, but its Icon isn’t listed on your home screen, then you should use the Google Now Launcher as default. Alternatively, you can use Nova Launcher or Apex and use their Settings menu to add the Dialer from the Shortcuts menu.
