Android developers can now reply to Play Store reviews

One of the biggest concern for Android developers was the inability to reply to users’ reviews. Fortunately, Google listened to their complaints and it’s now possible. Currently this feature is only available for Top Developers, but it will be rolled out to all developers.

Google didn’t offer a deadline for this, so we can only hope it won’t take long until every developer will be able to have conversations with their users. This will definitely improve the Play Store, which has had a lot of problems lately, especially with rogue apps and fake reviews.

Many of the negative reviews are caused by bugs present in the applications, which cause them to run slowly, crash or simply don’t work as they should. And now developers can talk to the affected users and discover the issue easier. This was probably the biggest reason for them to request this feature.
