10-Inch Asus Memo Pad Smart Price Is $365, Gets Official In Thailand

Information about the new 10-ich tablet developed by Asus have been surfing the web for a while. We already know many things about the Asus Memo Pad 10 in terms of specs and pricing. Also, we know how it looks like thanks to some images leaked a few weeks ago. Some guys from Bulgaria even reviewed it.

In spite of all this, Asus has not officially unveiled it, until yesterday which was the day when the company finally introduced the Memo Pad 10 at the Thailand Mobile Expo. The device has received an official name and it will hit the markets as Asus Memo Pad Smart ME301T. The tablet is priced at THB 10,900 which means 365 US dollars. This is very good news because the price tag is smaller than the one previously leaked.

In terms of technical specifications, the Asus Memo Pad Smart will come with a 10.1-inch IPS screen with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800. It’s powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Tegra 2 CPU, and it has 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. Among other specs we can name 1GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2MP front-facing one, microHDMI slot, and it measures 263 x 180.8 x 9.9mm and weights 580 grams. Of course, the Asus Memo Pad Smart will be sold running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box.

For those of you who have any intention of buying Asus’ new product, you should also know that it will be available in three color versions namely Midnight Blue, Crystal White, and Fuchsia Pink.

Also, we expect HTC to show the tablet at the Mobile World Congress, as well.
