ASUS MeMo Pad Tablets Launching in the UK Beginning Early March

Not only that ASUS has released a couple of interesting devices at Mobile World Congress, but the company has also provided some useful information about the release date of its other products. For instance, ASUS mentioned that the MeMo Pad tablets will soon arrive in the UK. To be more exact the, MeMo Pad 7 and the MeMo Pad 10 will be available for purchase in the United Kingdom as of March 7th.

The Asus 10.1-inch ME301T (aka the Smart 10) is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and comes with a fair price of £249. The tablet boats an IPS display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800. It also offers 16GB of internals storage and will be available in three color versions. The Midnight Blue will be available right from the beginning, while the other two will arrive later. There are multiple retailers that will offer the MeMo Pad Smart 10 such as Tesco, Amazon, and Currys PCWorld. I haven’s checked, but all the retailers should be listing the tablets for pre-order immediately. Of course, if you want to purchase it in-store, you’ll have to wait until March 7.

The other Asus Tablet that will be launched in the UK is the MeMo Pad ME172V (aka MeMo Pad 7). This one comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, as well, but it’s considerably cheaper that its bigger sibling. The MeMo Pad 7 sports a 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU, and it has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. The internal storage is the same, while the best feature of the 7-incher is probably its low price, £129. The MeMo Pad 7 will be available starring around mid-April.
