The HTC One VX smartphone is expected on AT&T since last month, but unfortunately for those who were and are interested in buying this Android based handset, the One VX is nowhere to find. As you might know HTC first announced the device in October when the One X+ has been also presented. Also, back then both smartphones had received the November 17th release date through AT&T, but only the One X+ is now available through the mentioned retail. We don’t know what was with this unexpected delay, but now the latest info is offering another “official” launch date for the AT&T HTC One VX: December 7.
It is really hard to believe this, though the smartphone is already available in US, so normally AT&T should be the next retail to sell this phone. Now, for those who aren’t familiar with this handset, here are some of the HTC One VX specs and features: a relatively slow dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor (of course slow if we compare it with other high end smartphones that are being available on the market), 1 GB of RAM, a 5 MP rear facing camera, LTE support, 8 GB of internal storage memory and a large 4.5-inch qHD display. Ice Cream Sandwich is the platform that comes pre-installed on this device, so no Jelly Bean here, at least not for now.
So, if you are not a picky customer and if you are looking for an Android based smartphone with mid-range to high end performances then the HTC One VX should be perfect for you. Now, according to our sources, the phone will be finally released through AT&T on December 7th, so only a few days left until the big event. The price tag for the AT&T One VX will be $49.99 and this only if you are willing to sign a new tow year commitment. That’s all for now but stay close as we will update you with news as soon as something fresh comes out.
