AT&T Pantech Renue: Specs, Features and Price

Pantech-Renue

AT&T and Pantech are once more working together as the new Renue smartphone is now available through the mentioned carrier. This QWERTY Android based handset is coming with low range specs and features, though it has some capabilities that worth our attention. But, the Pantech Renue strength is related to its price tag, which is more than affordable, especially if you are an entry level customer with decent expectations from a phone. But, for the full AT&T offer as well as for the full specs and features list read the next lines.

Now, the device is looking quite good considering that it has a small 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display. A minus when it comes to the design is the plastic-made impression, a false one as the case is made from 70 % of the recycled material using recycle paper and non POV soy ink; therefore we have an Eco-friendly smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard included. But that’s not all; the display has protection against dust, water, temperature, sand, humidity and radiation, all for providing an improved experience for its future users.

The AT&T Pantech Renue specs are including a single core 1 GHz processor, a slide out QWERTY keypad, 256 MB of RAM, 1 GB of internal storage memory and a poor 3 MP rear facing camera with no front facing one. The best part about this smartphone is related to the operating system, which is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately, there are small chances to see a Jelly bean update released, so the ICS flavor will be all you get. Of course you will be able to update with a custom ROM or with a beta firmware, but the official ROM is out of question.

Now, if you like this handset and if you want to buy it, then you should know that the AT&T Pantech Renue price is $70 on contract after mail in rebate of $50. For the full offer I recommend you to go through the closest AT&T retail and ask for further details. That’s all for now; fell free to share your impressions and opinions with us and with other Android users.
