AT&T Xperia TL Release Date set for November 2, Priced at $99.99
Since everyone is getting more and more excited as the Galaxy Note 2 has arrived to US (T-Mobile is already offering the phablet while Verizon and AT&T will soon do the same), I have to remind you that Sony’s latest flagship and James Bond’s very own device in Skyfall, the Xperia TL is about to be released through AT&T next month. Furthermore, the exact date had just been leaked, so if you want to find out more details related to this handset (such as the future price tag) and about its future availability, check the following lines.
As you might know, the Xperia TL is the US version of the Xperia T, which will be made available in Canada during next month too. In Canada, the smartphone will be offered by Bell, Mobilicity, MTS, Rogers and Videotron while in the US, so far there are news only about the AT&T release. However, the handset is looking quite good, not to mention that it will be coming with some real high end specs and features along with numerous 007 ringtones, themes and background images.
Now, if you want to learn more about the Sony Xperia TL, then you should know that its specs are including a large 4.6 inch display (Mobile Bravia engine), a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, 16 GB of internal storage memory, a powerful 13 MP camera on the back and a decent 1.3 MP camera on the front. Furthermore, the phone is featuring NFC support, is PlayStation certified and is running the Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Yes, Jelly Bean is not here, but most likely an Android 4.1 or maybe even the 4.2 variant of the same, OTA update will be made available soon after the AT&T Xperia TL release.
According to our sources, those interested in buying the smartphone should know that the Xperia TL will arrive to AT&T on November 2nd, and its price tag will be $99.99. Of course, the price is suitable only for the contract deal, the SIM free offer being still unknown. Anyway, consider the above mentioned info just rumors, as there are no official statements made, at least not for now. Also, if you take a look on AT&T’s official webpage you will see that the Xperia TL is tagged with a “soon to come” launch date.
