Best Buy is Offering a $100 Discount on the Verizon Google Pixel 2

Just two days back, Google announced its latest flagship Pixel smartphones – Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. In the US, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are only being carried by Verizon Wireless. If you are an existing Verizon customer or wish to switch to Big Red for the Pixel 2, you can get a $100 discount on both the 64GB and 128GB variants. Best Buy is currently offering a $100 discount on the Pixel 2 and $25 discount on the Pixel 2 XL Verizon models. However, in order to receive the discount, you will need to go for an installment plan. You will not receive any discount if you purchase the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL outright.

The 5-inch Pixel 2 64GB variant, which is priced at $649, can be yours for $22.91 monthly for a period of 24 months. If you are more interested in the 128GB variant, you will need to shell out $27.08 every month for 24 months. Usually, we don’t see any significant discounts on brand new devices, so this is certainly a great deal. The Pixel 2 XL 64GB, priced at $849 on the Google Store, can be yours for $825 when you pay $34.36 monthly. Similarly, the Pixel 2 XL 128GB variant can be yours for $38.53 each month for 24 months, adding up to $925 instead of $949 for the unlocked model on the Google Store. And of course, you will get the free Google Home Mini along with your purchase. The Pixel 2 is expected to begin shipping on October 19th, while the bigger Pixel 2 XL is likely to begin shipping by the end of this month or early next month.

The Pixel 2 features a 5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Running under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset, clocked at 2.35 GHz. The powerful SoC has been paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which is slightly disappointing. Rest of the key features include a 12.2MP resolution main camera, 8MP fixed-focus selfie camera, 2700mAh capacity battery with quick charging, USB Type-C port, and front-firing stereo speakers. The smartphone will ship with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box.
