Chrome for Android Update Brings Better Scrolling Performance and Pinch-zooming

When it comes to Android web browsers there are a few good ones to choose from. But if your favorite is Google Chrome then you should know that the company has released a new update and you’re free to grab it from the Play Store. The software update is for Chrome 24,  version 25.0.1364.123 to be more specific. The update comes along with several new functions and other enhancements to the ones that already exist.

First of all, Chrome 25 for Android OS comes with enhanced scrolling performance and has better responsiveness for pinch-zooming. The software also features the newest version of the V8 javascript engine, so you should expect the interactive pages to load faster. In addition, Google has expanded the HTML5 features support.

However, speaking of new features, probably the most significant one is the background audio. In other words, the web browser lest the audio to continue playing while the application stays in the background. So, in case you need to listen to some music in the background while browsing the internet from your Android device, this feature will be very useful for you.

The internet giant also mentions that the update will make the browser more stable than before and brings some performance features. The user interface has received some minor improvements, as well.

In case you don’t use Chrome for Android and want to change your browser, Chrome 25 can be found on Google’s Play Store. Furthermore, you may want to check out the Chrome Beta application and tested, you may actually like it. In case you don’t know, a Beta version software allows you to use the latest features of a certain application before they are included in the stable version. As the stable build, the Beta version of Chrome is available on the Play Store.
