The first CM 11 nightly builds were made available about week ago supporting the Nexus family of device. Soon after, the CyanogenMod team released CM 11 nightlies for even more Android devices, but now we hear that the Android 4.4 KitKat-based custom ROM can also be installed on the likes of Sprint LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy Express.
If you happen to own one of the two above mentioned devices you will now be able to enjoy the KitKat flavor, too. Of course, you will most likely encounter quite e few bugs since we are talking about CM 11 nightly builds, so be prepared to pay this price if you decide to install CM 11 on your Sprint LG G2 or Samsung Galaxy Express.
Those of you who’ve previously installed custom ROMs know the requirements and the installation procedure. The others should know that you will need a rooted smartphone and that the CM 11 install procedure will wipe your device. Afterwords, download CM 11 for Sprint LG G2 (ls980) or Samsung Galaxy Express (expressatt) along with the GApps for Android 4.4 ZIP file, boot in recovery mode, flash both files on your smartphone, perform a wipe, then reboot. You should be running CM 11 now.
As I was mentioning above, the CM 11 nightly builds come with quite a few bugs, therefore it’s your decision whether to install it or not.
