CM 10.1 Nightlies Officially Available for Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM, ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T and others more

The first Nightlies build of CM 10.1 has been released for the Galaxy Nexus smartphone, Nexus 7 and Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 tablets. It is based on the Android 4.2 release and it brings all of the CyanogenMod features.

CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightlies are currently one of the most sought after ROM releases by the Android community and, it seems like the CM team managed to offer users a big surprise in time for Christmas. CM10.1 is an AOSP based ROM that comprises all Android 4.2 functions and besides that, it also comes with multiple improvements and other new features that will enhance your Android experience.

Usually, a nightly release of CM ROM is not very stable but, as there are new versions launched on an almost daily basis then with every other build you will see better and better performances. Eventually, you should be able to install new updates that will incorporate all the other Android 4.2 new features. The new update comes with the new Lockscreen widgets, 360 degree panorama photo and multiple other new functions that are on the AOSP ROM.

The updates can be easily installed on the Google Nexus 7 and ASUS Transformer Pad TF700 tablets. Also, it can be installed on the Galaxy Nexus I9250 GSM and on the Samsung Galaxy S I9000. However, I think that before this day ends you will see that multiple other new devices will get the update. Remember that this update can be flashed only on devices that are rooted and already running a Jelly Bean ROM. Also, you will need to install separately the Google Apps. Use CWM Recovery to flash the new CM 10.1 Nightly build for your Android device.

We will post new guides in the next few days that will teach you how to update your phone using the CM10.1 custom ROM.
