Description

The Amzon Fire HD 7 was made available for purchase in October 2014 after it had been unveiled a month earlier. Amazon’s tablet measures 191 x 128 x 10.6 mm and has a weight of 337 grams. Its IPS LCD display measures 7 inches and has a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixel resolution and a pixel density of around 216 ppi.

The Fire HD 7 comes running Android 4.4 KitKat customized with its own Fire OS 4 Sangria user interface. In terms of memory, the device is packing 1 GB of RAM and it’s available in two versions when it comes to native storage, namely 8 and 16 GB, which sadly cannot be expanded because it lacks a memory card slot.

The tablet is underpinned by a dual-core 1.5 GHz CPU, but also by a 1.2 GHz one and connectivity-wise it packs microUS v2.0 (SlimPort), Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The Fire HD 7 boasts a 2 megapixel camera which is capable of recording videos at full HD quality. In case you are interested you should also know that it sports stereo speakers, it has an autonomy of up to 8 hours provided by a non-removable Li-Ion battery cell and you can choose from 5 distinct colors: Black, White, Cobalt, Magenta, and Citron.
