The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T was probably the best-selling tablet released by the Taiwan-based company. Introduced in February 2012 at Mobile World Congress tech fair in Barcelona and released on the market in April the same year, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T is compatible with an optional mobile dock with standard QWERTY keyboard and trackpad.
The ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 800 resolution and a pixel density of 149 ppi. The tablet measures 263 x 180.8 x 9.9 mm and weighs 635 grams.
Even though the Transformer Pad TF300T leaves the factory gates pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it is upgradable to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, of course customized with ASUS’ proprietary Waveshare UI.
The device is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 T30L SoC based on four Cortex A9 CPU cores clocked at 1.2 GHz and an ULP GeForce GPU. It also arrives with 1 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of native storage, and support for microSD cards up to 32 GB.
Connectivity-wise, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T arrives with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 EDR, and microUSB 2.0. On the back there’s an 8 MP camera with full HD video recording support, while the secondary shooter has a 1.2 MP sensor.
