The BenQ F5, also known as BenQ F5 4G LTE was announced in September 2014 and made available for acquisition the same month. The device arrives with an IPS LCD capacitive display that measures 5.0 inches, and even though it’s not full HD it does have a pretty decent resolution of 1280 x 720 and a pixel density of 294 ppi.
The BenQ F5 comes equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 chipset being powered by 4 Cortex A7 CPU cores clocked at 1.2 GHz helped by an Andreono 305 GPU. It further includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory above which you can add up to 64GB of extra memory via card slot.
Moreover, the smartphone is 143 mm long, 72.8 mm wide, 8.5 mm thin and weights 135 grams. On the back of the case you can find a 13 MP primary camera which has features such as autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama, while on the front of the phone there is located a 2 MP secondary shooter.
In terms of connectivity the BenQ F5 features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS, and microUSB 2.0. Other than this, it comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 2520 mAh battery cell which promises an autonomy of up to 550 hours in stand by, and up to 24 hours of talk time, it runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and it’s available in black and white.
