HTC Desire was officially announced by the Taiwanese company in February 2010. It was made available for purchase in select markets in March the same year.
The terminal is 119 mm tall, 60 mm wide, and 11.9 mm thin, while weighing in at 135 grams. It has an AMOLED display sized 3.7 inches, while bringing 480 x 800 resolution, 252 ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass protection. It was released with Android 2.1 Eclair on board and it was later upgraded t Android 2.2 Froyo.
HTC Desire is powered by a single-core 1 GHz Snapdragon processor with Adreno 200 GPU, paired with 576 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, and microSD support (up to 32 GB). It has a 5 MP primary camera with LED flash and support for HD video recording (after the software update).
In terms of connectivity it brings HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0. HTC Desire is kept alive by a 1,400 mAh battery and it’s available in four body colors: Black, Brown, Silver, and White.
