The HTC Rezound was released in November 2011 and is 129 mm long, 65.5 mm wide, 13.7 mm thin and weights 170.1 grams. It boasts a 4.3-inch S-LCD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 and a pixel density of around 342 ppi. The smartphone left the factory gates with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, but it allows an upgrade ti Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The HTC Rezound comes with a Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon, a Scorpion 1.5 GHz dual core processor and an Adreno 220 GPU. In addition, in has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native memory that can be boosted by up to 32 GB of storage via microSD card.
It’s primary camera has an 8 MP resolution, features autofocus, dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, and it’s capable of recording full HD videos with stereo sound. Over and above, it has a secondary 2 MP shooter mounted on the front.
Connectivity-wise, the HTC Rezound features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and a 3.5mm jack. Its Li-Ion 1620 mAh battery cell is supposed to provide up to 261 hours in stand by and up to 6 hours of talk time, web browsing, etc.
Among other functions, the HTC Rezound includes an organizer, document viewer, voice memo/dial/commands and its available only in black.
