Motorola Atrix HD was officially announced by the Chicago-based phone maker in July 2012. The terminal was made available for purchase in select markets in July the same year.
Motorola Atrix HD integrates a 4.5-inch screen that takes advantage of a TFT panel with 720 x 1280 resolution, 326 ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass protection. It’s splash resistant, measures 133.5 x 69.9 x 8.4 mm, and has weight of 140 grams.
The terminal was released with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with Motblur UI and it’s upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The processing tasks are handled by a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC with dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 224 GPU.
Motorola Atrix HD has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, and support for microSD cards up to 32 GB. It has an 8 MP primary camera with Full HD video recording support, 1.3 MP secondary camera, and a 1,780 mAh battery. The connectivity features of the smartphone include HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, EDR, LE, GPS, and microUSB 2.0.
