Samsung Galaxy Grad I9082 also known as Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos is a dual-SIM compatible smartphone announced by the South Korea-based company in December 2012. Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos made its market debut early 2013.
The handset is 143.5 mm tall, 76.9 mm wide, 9.6 mm thin, and has a weight of 162 grams. It integrates a 5.0-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 187 ppi pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos comes pre-loaded with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI on top of it and it’s upgradable to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The processing tasks are handled by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 CPU with Broadcom VideoCore IV. On the technical specifications list you will also find 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of native storage, and microSD support up to 64 GB.
On the back of the device there’s an 8 MP primary shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and Full HD video recording capabilities, while the front panel accommodates a 2 MP camera. Connectivity-wise it arrives with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0. Galaxy Grand Duos has a 2,100 mAh battery which, according to Samsung, is capable of getting the device through up to 10 hours of talk time.
