Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is a compact variant of the original Galaxy S4 and it’s aimed at the mid-range smartphone segment. It was announced by the South Korean company in May 2013 and it made its market debut in July 2013.
The smartphone measures 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.9 mm and has a weight of 107 grams. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it’s upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The terminal arrives with 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB storage, and has a microSD slot that can be used to expand the storage with up to 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, while being kept alive by a 1,900 mAh battery. It has an 8 MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD video recording support, and a 1.9 MP secondary shooter.
Connectivity-wise it brings HSPA, LTE, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS, NFC, IR blaster, and microUSB 2.0. Galaxy S4 mini sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 resolution and Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
