Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom is a cameraphone developed by the South Korea-based phone makers which is supposed to attract the customers who take a lot of photos with their phones. It was announced in June 2013 and made available for purchase one month later.
The device integrates a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, while being powered by a Pega-Dual + XMM6262 chipset with dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortex A9 CPU and Mali 400 GPU. It features 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of native storage, and a microSD slot (up to 64 GB supported).
Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom boasts about a 16 MP primary shooter with autofocus, 10x optical zoom (24-240mm), optical image stabilization, Xenon flash, 1/2.33” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama, and Full HD video recording with optical image stabilization. The user-facing camera has a 1.9 MP sensor.
Galaxy S4 zoom measures 125.5 x 63.5 x 15.4 mm and has a weight of 208 grams. It was launched with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on board and it’s upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. In terms of connectivity it arrives with LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, IR blaster, and microUSB 2.0.
