Samsung Galaxy S5 has been released on April 11, 2014 and is one of the most powerful smartphone of the year. The company has announced the Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014, in Barcelona, on February 24 and it comes with a lot of improvements over it’s previous version, the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy S5 comes with a 2.5 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, along with an amazing display and high quality camera.
It’s 5.1 inch display has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a density of 432 PPI. But this isn’t all, as the Super AMOLED panel has been significantly improved and the colors are more sharp, while it also has an increased brightness, over the previous model.
Galaxy S5’s camera comes with really amazing features, like the Phase detection autofocus, image stabilization, HDR and the BSI sensor. It has a 16MP sensor with an aperture size of F2.2, sensor size of 1/2.5″ and a 1.12 µm pixel size. It’s also able to record 4K videos at 30fps or Full HD at 60fps. The frontal camera has a 2.1MP sensor and it can record Full HD videos.
Samsung’s flagship comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, along with their proprietary TouchWiz UI, which is meant to increase the user experience and bring more features.
Thankfully, the device has a lot of unique features that no other phone maker can offer you, like the Smart Stay, Smart Pause, Smart Scroll, Air Gestures, and S Voice. Along with all these, it also sports a fingerprint scanner and a heart rate monitor placed below the camera on the back.
