Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 was officially announced by the South Korean company in April 2014. Tab 4 8.0 is one of the three members of the Galaxy Tab 4 family of tablets and it has seen its market debut in June 2014.
As its name suggests, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 arrives with an 8.0-inch display. We are dealing with TFT technology, a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, and a pixel density of 189 ppi. The device measures 210 x 124 x 8 mm and has a weight of 320 grams. There are three connectivity options available: WiFi-only, WiFi+3G, and WiFi+LTE.
Samsung’s 8-inch tablet comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and it’s powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, and it can support microSD cards of up to 64 GB. It has a 3.15 MP main shooter with 720p@30 fps video recording and a 1.3 MP secondary camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 brings connectivity features such as LTE, HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, infrared port, and microUSB 2.0. The device sports a Li-Po 4,450 mAh battery that should get it through 141 hours of music playback.
