Samsung Galaxy W was officially introduced to the public in August 2011. It’s a mid-range smartphone that was released on the market in October 2011.
Galaxy W is 115.5 mm tall, 59.8 mm wide, and 11.5 thick, while weighing in at 114.7 grams. The smartphone has a 3.7-inch TFT display, 480 x 800 resolution, and a pixel density of 252 ppi. It comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI on top.
The terminal is powered by a Snapdragon SoC with single-core 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor and Adreno 205 GPU. It has 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB ROM, 1.7 GB storage, and microSD support up to 32 GB. On the back there’s a 5 MP camera with autofocus, LED flash, and HD video recording, while the front panel accommodates a VGA sensor.
Samsung Galaxy W arrives with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, FM radio, 3.5 mm jack, and microUSB 2.0. It’s available in black and white and has a 1,500 mAh battery.
