Sony Xperia Z Ultra as officially announced in June 2013 and it’s the biggest smartphone manufactured by the Japanese company yet. It was made available for purchase in July 2013.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra brings a massive 6.4-inch display with Full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution, 344 ppi pixel density, shatter proof glass protection, and Triluminos and X-Reality Engine technologies. The Xperia Z Ultra measures 179.4 x 92.2 x 6.5 mm and weighs in at 212 grams.
The gigantic smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset with quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, paired with 2 GB of RAM. It also arrives with 16 GB of microSD-expandable storage while being kept alive by a 3,050 mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, Xperia Z Ultra arrives with HSDPA, 42 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.8 Mbps; LTE, Cat4, 50 Mbps UL, 150 Mbps DL, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and microUSB 2.0. It integrates an 8 MP primary camera with full HD video recording and a 2 MP user-facing camera for video calls.
