Just like its name suggests, the Sony Xperia Z1 compact is a compact variant of the Xperia Z1 flagship. Xperia Z1 Compact was officially introduced in January 2014 and was released on select markets later the same month.

The compact smartphone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and it’s upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Connectivity-wise it brings LTE, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0.
