The HTC Droid DNA was officially announced in November 2012 and made available for purchase later the same month. Because it’s a member of the Droid family, the smartphone is available exclusively through Verizon’s network.
HTC Droid DNA measures 141 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm and has a weight of 141.7 grams. It arrives with a 5.0-inch Super LCD3 screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution, 441 ppi pixel density, and Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Released with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, it was upgraded to Android 4.2.
The smartphone features a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU at 1.5 GHz, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage. The 8 MP rear-facing camera arrives with autofocus, LED flash, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, face/smile detection, and 1080p@30fps video recording. The user-facing 2.1 MP camera also recordings 1080p videos.
Connectivity-wise Droid DNA arrivs with LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and microUSB 2.0. It’s kept alive by a Li-Ion 2,020 mAh battery and is available in one body color: Black.
