Google Play Store has been updated to version 4.0.25. It brings a major redesign to the User Interface which was something that all Android users wanted. Their aren’t any major development tweaks
This update comes weeks before the Google I/O event and no one expected it to be available so soon. The changes have been implemented recently and now you can experience the brand new Google Play Store right on your tablets and smartphones. It looks a lot better than the previews UI and you will find that apps are better organized. The Install button is now easy to access as you don’t even need to open the app in order to view it; click the menu button and then simply press the Install button.
In-app purchases will now be displayed over the apps without exiting to a new menu. This Google Play Store 4.0.25 update will start to roll out today for all devices worldwide but, not all Android smartphones / tablets will get it at the same time. It will take weeks until all the devices will get this update. That’s why you can easily install it by clicking the link at the end of this post.
This is the latest redesign for Google Play, as only last year it had a name change which made Google change the Android Market to Google Play Store. This Google ‘marketplace’ has been launched 4 years ago and it currently houses over 800,000 applications.
Download the app. Make sure that your device has the Unknown Sources enabled and after that launch the APK file. Confirm that you want to install it and then you will be able to use the brand new UI of Google Play Store. After the install is complete you open the Google Play Store as you did before and then you can begin testing its new features and UI.
