To clarify, only a small section of the preview is shown and bizarrely it is the far right quarter but when I take the photo it is on the left. It’s impossible to frame anything properly and I just have to hope. I’m running 4.0.4.

You can add a picture from your galery or share it to instagram and all the rest works fine. Something wrong with the display only, and I suspect the problem is with the phone, so I will be asking sony too. Just in case any of you had this issue too.
