Fujitsu has just release a new rugged tablet, called the Stylistic M532, which also sports great hardware. The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 has the MIL-STD-810G rating, which means it can support high levels of impact, water, dust and shock, making it an ultra-durable tablet.
Now let’s talk a bit about it’s hardware, which is quite powerful. IT features an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage expandable through a microSD slot. It also sports WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 10.1-inch IPS display.
The Stylistic M532 comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board, unlike the other Stylistic tablets, which feature Windows 7.
Unfortunately it’s price doesn’t make it very competitive, though it’s not just for everyone. If you need a rugged high-end tablet, then you might be ready to pay $549. It’s price can really be justified, considering it will last much longer than casual tablets, which aren’t very durable.
Fujitsu hasn’t been very successful with their tablets until now and this probably won’t get them to the top either, considering it’s a niche device.
