Samsung Galaxy Note 510 Released In India For Rs 30900

Samsung is very busy launching new devices in India. After just releasing the Samsung Galaxy S4, the company has released the Galaxy Note 510. Also known as the Galaxy Note 8.0, the handset was launched almost two months ago, and now it has finally hit the Indian territory. The company also revealed that it will be sold for Rs 30,900 and the people who are interested can already pre-order it from the Samsung eStore.

In case you want to be reminded what kind of hardware does the Samsung Galaxy Note 510 sport, it comes with an 8-inch TFT screen with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 800, it’s powered by an Exynos 4412 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz, it includes 2 GB of RAM and 16 of internal storage, which you can expand using a microSD card. The device also boasts a 5 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing one, a 4,600 mAh battery and 3G connectivity. As for the operating system, the Galaxy Note 510 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

Of course, the tablet will come along with n S-Pen stylus, meaning that it will be coming with lots of pre-loaded application that have been optimized to be used with the S Pen including S Note, S Planner, E-mail with hand writing integration, Quick Command, Easy Clip, Photo Note, Paper Artist, Air View, Popup Note, Popup Video, Shape Match, Formula Match, and Idea Sketch.

Again, the device will go on sale at a price of  Rs 30,900(~$583), which is a little steep considering that the Nexus 7 is available for only Rs 21,900 (~$413). However, the Galaxy Note 510 will be sold at a price similar to the iPad Mini, with the difference that Samsung’s product brings a lot better hardware to the table.
