It will not be long until the Samsung Galaxy S4 will hit the US market and we already know most of the details about which carriers will offer it and when. For instance, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T will start selling the flagship smartphone at the end of this month, while Verizon stated that it will put the phone on sale sometime in May, with no exact release date provided.
Second US mobile operator AT&T is already offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 for the customers who want to pre-order it. The device can be pre-ordered for $199.99 and comes along with a two-year plan. However, there is a more affordable offer in case you don’t want to buy the phone directly from the carrier. For that, you have to head over to Walmart Wireless, which is offering the Galaxy S4 for pre-order with a two-year contract with AT&T, but for only $168, according to Unwired View. The price is great because you have the possibility to save $32 for basically the same device and the same services. There is more, the offer is available for new customers, but for the people who already have a plan with AT&T, as well.
You might think that this is too good to be true, and that certainly is a catch. Well, while AT&T has announced that it will start shipping the Galaxy S4 as of April 30, Walmart has made no statement about the matter. Nevertheless, I don’t see why the retailer would have a delayed shipping date compared with the carrier. And even if it so, you could wait a couple of days longer, it’s not quite a big deal as long as it saves you some cash.
So, are you going to buy the Samsung Galaxy S4 from Walmart Wireless, or being among the first to own the handset is more important to you, so you’re willing to pay extra money?
