Good news for the customers who have pre-ordered or intend to pre-order the Galaxy S4 from AT&T. While until now we have known that the AT&T will start shipping the smartphone starting on April 30, a new report says that the customers will receive a week earlier, as of April 23.
The mobile operators put the Samsung Galaxy S4 a few days ago, and the shipping date was listed for April 30. However, some of the customers who made a pre-order have received notifications saying that the device will be delivered by May 3.
According to Engadget, AT&T has changed the shipping date of the Galaxy S4, setting it for April 23, as you can all see in the screenshot above the article. Nevertheless, if you head to the carrier’s website the date is still April 30, as always.
We’re not sure if AT&T wants to be the first US mobile network to ship the Samsung Galaxy S4, or this was just a simple mistake.
The other carriers will make the device available in the same period of time, with T-Mobile releasing it on April 24, while Sprint will launch it a few days later, on April 27. Sprint has a nice offer for the customers who want to switch networks providing the Galaxy S4 for only $149.99 with a two-year contract. On the other hand, T-Mobile is letting its subscribers choose whatever plan they want and it offers the Galaxy S4 for 149.99 with further monthly payments.
Moving on, US Cellular customers can also pre-order the device for a price of $199.99 with new plans. The carrier will start shipping the Galaxy S4 starting late April, and it will also give away a free S Flip Cover for every customer who buys the smartphone.
Other US mobile operators will sell the Galaxy S4, such as Verizon, C Spire, and Cricket, but we are yet to find out the exact shipping dates.
