With the Samsung Galaxy S4 now unveiled, the South Korean company must launch it in many worldwide markets as possible in order to reach the 100 million sold units that it expects. India is a country that consists of many Android enthusiasts so they will be happy to hear that the Galaxy S4 is going to be available for them pretty soon. If we are to believe TechOne3, the company will release its new flagship sometime in early May. This is no surprise because all the other markets are going to receive the Samsung Galaxy S4 in that period, except for the UK. Carrier Everything Everywhere confirmed that the S4 will be available for its customers starting April 26.
The Indian version of the Galaxy S4 will come with the impressive Exynos 5 Octa CPU, though only the 16GB 3G version of the device will be launched for now. Also, the same website claims that the Indian people will also receive the TDD/FDD LTE dual mode Samsung Galaxy S4, but this model will hit the market in the following months.
While we don’t know for sure how much money the Indians will have to spend on the Galaxy S4, the smartphone is expected to cost around Rs. 40,000-45,000 (or $740-833). Of course, this estimated price is for the unlocked version of the handset, and naturally if you choose to make a contract with any of the local mobile operators, the Galaxy S4 will cost a lot less. Even though any official release dates are confirmed, two mobile networks in India are already listed as stocking the Samsung Galaxy S4, namely Airtel and Vodafone.
