GMail 5 for Android Concept Is Simply Amazing

Since Gmail is the most popular email service in the world, and a Gmail account is required to take the most out of an Android smartphone, the folks are Google are trying their best to constantly improve both the desktop and mobile versions of Gmail. Well, there are a lot of enthusiasts out there and one of them was not afraid to show us his own vision of the next version of Gmail for smartphones.

The Gmail for Android app was revamped after the Mountain View-based giant has introduced Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the search engine giant has continued to improve its interface.

Therefore, the Google devs have introduced the Holo interface on as many Google products as possible, to serve an example for the other developers.

Moreover, most of the Android developers have adopted the new interface for their own apps and even brought their own contribution for unique aspects.

From the moment the new Holo interface was applied, Gmail didn’t receive any consistent improvements in terms of user interface. Because the Google I/O even is right around the corner, when the new Android iteration, unofficially dubbed Key Lime Pie 5.0, is expected to debut, the speculations regarding the new design of the Google apps are materializing in original concepts.

One of the most interesting Gmail concepts was created by Paul Burke and it’s all about the way the v5 of the app should look like. Moreover, it was rumoured that the new cards-based Google Play 4.0 interface might be representative for the way Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie would look like, but Burke’s Gmail 5 concept is not fitting in this trend.

But let’s cut the chit-chat and let the Gmail 5 concept shots speak for themselves. Enjoy the gallery below.
