Notepad is not the same as how the s pen works. The s pen is like a real pen writing on a paper (the tablet's screen). So if u have an ugly penmanship, u will see your ugly handwriting on the tablet. So if u can draw very well, then u get a beautiful drawing on your tablet. Plain and simple.

I hate reviewers' reviews too. They always put the ipad on top. Android devices fight for the second spot. But most android owners review their tablets and smartphones so high. 4.5 to 5. Reviewers' score 3.5 to 4 for most android devices. Ipads always score 4.5 by reviewers but by owners only 4.
I read bout reviews to know bout features.
Of the 3 tablets here, i would rate galaxy note 10.1 as first because of the s pen and 3g and phone functionality.
2nd would be asus because of the docking station.
Last would be nexus. :)

I've owned a nexus 7, loved it. But it's a toy compared to the note 10.1. It reminded me of a giant phone. Very few reviewers have used the products . He rates the nexus 10 better only because of the screen. Isn't there more to a tablet than it's screen.

It absolutely does come with the S-pen. Everyone needs to quit posting bs about equipment you dont own or know about. Go out and use the equipment you are thinking of buying. Dont trust authors that are paid by the manufacturers for their reviews and dont listen to morons in the comments trying to defend why they bought something the author doesnt like. Go out and touch, feel and use and make your own decission on what works best for you.

You guys should really go to an electronics store and compare the toted sg10 features to other tablets. My wifes dad has the galaxy and I have the transformer. Same screen save for saturation. I can take hand written notes, hand write on photos, art etc. or hand write and it will convert to text or stay as fh. All kinds of simple but great formats and styles. It can do every feature his can. Asus just never hyped up their programs and instead went for touting invidia which is slowly becoming the Norm. His screen does seem more colorful but not any higher of a resolution. Unless you're an engineer and absolutely need over 1k points of pressure the high price doesnt justify it with me imho. I have the tf300 and the screen is not dark wheresoever. I have to turn it down just to keep my eyes from burning. The best thing I think about the sg10 is the 2GB ram which will absolutely be future proof and I wish I had it, but it will take time for developers to fully utilize everything. Speaker placement is better on the sg10,, but in all honexty mine is way louder. Mine will drown his out being anywhere near it even though my speaker is on the back. I was gonna go with the tab2 but specs have been watered down. ps. The galaxy does not come with the s pen. He was kinda let down but since it is THE selling point, id assume they know people must have it and will charge a premium for it.

Actually you can, I just bought the tf300 and the first app I opened is NotePad. I went to type and thought about the sg10 feature and tried it. Yoh can jot anything down handwritten style and it will format on screen the condense into a lined format if you would like or free hand style. Hard to explain. My wifes dad got the sg10 yesterday and I played with it. Amazing machine, colors explode with saturation and it tends to focus text better but mine does the exact same thing save for the 1k points of pressure. Amazing machine but im happy with a transformer for 200 less.

I think you mean Tf700 right? and I disagree, I do love my Infinity but the metal they used on it for the case is ridiculously pliable. I have a Gumdrop Drop Tech case on mine and the the area around my charger port is constantly being bent down even with the case, it takes me a good 5-10 minutes of fiddling with the charger to get it to actually connect and charge.
