It seems like Google is preparing to release the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for the Nexus 4 pretty soon, as it’s been spotted once again, this time in the Czech Republic. Unfortunately we can’t be sure if this is real, but a 4.2.2 update is nowhere near impossible, especially considering that it will be a small update. Usually updates like this bring mostly bug fixes and rarely come with any new features.
The Android 4.2.2 running Google Nexus 4 was spotted in a Czech video that has nothing to do with this update. The phone’s owner wants to show the differences between Google’s Nexus 4 and LG Optimus G, though at the end you can clearly see that he’s device is running Android 4.2.2.
We can’t tell for sure what he’s talking about, because we didn’t manage to find anyone able to translate from Czech, though what’s important is the version his Nexus 4 is running on.
If Google really releases Android 4.2.2 for the Nexus 4, it should come as a good news for all the Jelly Bean Nexus owners, as they will get the update pretty soon too.
Please let us know if you got any update for your Nexus 4 by mistake, because we are curious how does Google push them, if this is actually true. Earlier we spotted a Nexus 4 running Android 4.2.2 in Brazil, so we don’t really understand how come two people from opposite sides of the world got the updates, while the others didn’t.
Once we find out more about Google’s new Android version we will let you know. In the meantime we are more eager to find out more about Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie version, because it should come with a lot of goodies, being a pretty major update, unlike this one.
