I suggest any reader to try out “juice defender” to automatically disable data and reenable it every 15 or more minutes + re enables it also when you turn the screen on.

Trust me, it really helps a lot by it self. Friends I suggested the app are all happy generally use just the free version, I ended up buying the intermediate and best version as it takes care of gps, wifi, specific apps requiring data to be on, on some roms automatic switch to 2g.

Also some functions only work for rooted phones.
It eats up a few MB’s but sets you free from having to remember enabling or disabling data ecc

There is a script on xda to automatically switch to 2g and manually re-enable 3g. Great, even better that JD that always reenables it when screen is on.

Nikita, this is the issue with charging chip, it need to be replaced. Kindly contact service centre for the same. I faced same issue and got it repaired.

I brought my galaxy ace plus 2 months back…but m havin sme problem with its battery…bcos the battery icon is showing charging even after unplugging the charger…so to fix this problem i hv to take out its battery nd then i hv to put it back in my phone again…can anybody help me out plz…????

Very good tips provided by the author to increase the ace,s battery life. If i may, i would like to add a few more tricks to further increase the battery life, they are as follows-:

1) Disable the Background Data option under the Auto and Sync Settings (unable it when required)
2) Disable the USB Debugging option under Application settings
3) Stop any unwanted services which are running in the background
4) Download the app Speed Booster and run it once in a while
5) Try not to use live wallpapers too much
6) Reduce the screens brightness level

The tricks above have definitely helped me to further my ace;s battery life.
