I do not agree with the post entirely. I get a day and a half with full charge and moderate use. My WiFi is on, data is on for around 8 hours, Bluetooth is on for 4 hours (driving). I have owned Samsung devices for a few years now and once you get to 'know them' Apple seems last century! Here are a few tricks that I learnt through my experience: 1. Recalibrate the battery. There is help available online. You need to drain the battery, take it out, put it back in, charge it to full while the phone is switched off, then unplug and switch the phone on, use it for a minute, recharge to 100%. 2. use auto brightness. 3. check the signal, low signal is the worst of them all (apart from gaming). In a bad signal area, I only manage 3/4 day but in decent signal, I get over a day! Samsungs are lovely devices and Note is amazing. I uave used iPhone before but I cant even think about going back to Apple. All the best guys.

Great tips. Really useful. Unfortunately I can't stand using the beautiful screen at lower brightness so I keep the brightness maxed and bought a spare battery and the Samsung battery charger/stand.
Is it a bad idea to leave the Samsung battery charger plugged in all night charging the spare battery?

All the Tech Advisors suggested that Turn Off Wifi, GPS, No Live Wallpaper and ect...Then why would the Samsung engineerings not think about it before they let the products roll out in the market. Why would they designed those stuffs if they knew the battery couldn't handle it??? Unlike iphones, they never had such problem and even though they have million apps out there. I had my Galaxy Note for 3 weeks and very disappointed. I have it fully charged and when I woke up in the morning, the battery was completly drained out. I turned Wifi Off, GPS, and any active activities.
